Supervising Dental Designer: Combine leading-edge research on product usage, marketing, and materials science with artistic principles to create highly functional and esthetic designs and products; Research and develop improved products, materials, design concepts, and production techniques by staying abreast of current developments (professional literature, trade shows, market research on competitive products and industry trends); Confer and coordinate design efforts internally with marketing, production, and sales departments, and with dentists/patients on complete mouth reconstruction cases; Research and troubleshoot manufacturing issues (specifications, materials, and production methods) to maintain top-level standards while maximizing profitability; Function as creative pacesetter to develop and coordinate overall look and function of company product lines (develop standards for design, texture, contours, and esthetics); Evaluate feasibility of design ideas based on factors such as appearance, function, safety, budget, production cost/methods and market trends; Perform laboratory testing to evaluate stress resistance, flexibility, retention, and anatomical complexities of dental products and appliances; Prepare sketches and detailed drawings of ideas using drafting instruments and computer-aided design equipment, and direct the fabrication of appliances and models from sketches and photos;  Assist group manager in maintaining quality control, training technicians, and performance reviews; Foster and maintain customer relationships; Participate in clinics, seminars, and trade shows.  BS in Dental Hygiene (Dental Technology) and 2 years experience.  Apply to: BonaDent, Attn: J.
