Dan Kernan, an accomplished ceramist on one of BonaDent’s fixed teams and Ceramics Manager Erin Bonafiglia recently completed "Mastering Aesthetics & Ceramics for the Advanced Dental Technician" at New York University's College of Dentistry. The course covered various theoretical and practical aspects of technical dentistry, including the academic fundamentals of technical dentistry; dentist/laboratory communication; modeling and articulation; diagnostic wax-up and casting; and a variety of materials-expertise practicums.

It’s an intensive and rigorous course, as Erin recounts “The advanced course at NYU was a highly rewarding experience, both professionally and personally. The course focused on all aspects of creating high-quality fixed restorations—from treatment planning to delivery of the final product. I highly recommend this course…I learned from some of the nation’s best dental technicians and was able to take my knowledge base and technical skills to the next level.”
